Today we welcome Dr. Diep Nguyen to the Baby Bundles Board of Directors!

Dr. Nguyen is originally from Springfield, Virginia and moved to Charlotte in 2008. She is married and has two children ages 8 and 13 years old. She attended the University of Virginia and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. Upon graduation, she spent two years completing graduate course work and performing clinical research work at Johns Hopkins University prior to pursuing her medical degree. She attended medical school at The George Washington University School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency training at Children’s National Medical Center where she served as Associate Chief Resident. After training, Dr. Nguyen worked for 3.5 years in an inner-city health center and served as Interim Medical Director and board member of Reach Out and Read, a national non-profit organization promoting early literacy in underserved communities.

Since moving to Charlotte, she has practiced at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Charlotte Pediatric Clinic-Steele Creek for the last 11 years. She recently joined Levine Children’s Perspective Health and Wellness, a new Atrium Health pediatric membership-based practice in South Park in April 2020. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and North Carolina Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also a member of the Charlotte Pediatric Society.

Dr. Nguyen is extremely excited to join the Baby Bundles board to give back to the wonderful community of Charlotte she now calls home.
