CHARLOTTE, N.C. (September 22, 2014) — Baby Bundles, a nonprofit dedicated to providing mothers in economic need with newborn essentials, is the latest organization to join forces with Crisis Assistance Ministry.  Charlotte-based Baby Bundles has pledged to make a monthly delivery of 24 bundles of items for moms-to-be and new moms with babies ages six months or younger for distribution through Crisis Assistance’s Free Store.

Each of the 12 baby girl bundles and 12 baby boy bundles will contain a six-month supply of baby blankets, bibs, burp cloths, outfits, pajamas, socks, hats, onesies, books and an educational toy packaged in a large, reusable bag. “We see ourselves as a mother-to-mother outreach,” said Heather, founder  of Baby Bundles, “We’re honored by the opportunity to be a consistent resource for an organization like Crisis Assistance that is making such a tremendous difference in quality of life in the Charlotte area.”

Baby Bundles, the brainchild of three women who know the challenges of birth, loss and motherhood firsthand, focuses on underserved populations. The organization gathers new and gently used baby clothing, organizes clothing drives, and delivers these “baby bundles” to new moms in need. In the process of “clothing newborns with love,” Baby Bundles seeks to help alleviate some of the stresses that come during the first months of new motherhood.  BabyBundlesNC.org.
